Murphy English Descriptive Essay 23 September, Hospitalized Everybody expects their high school years to be full of excitement, relationships, parties, and so on. We learn how to deal with the teachers, classmates, the schedule and begin to enjoy it more than expected, for some. There is, however, those unexpected moments we all dread. It was my third year in High School and everything was going smoothly, until it happened, I was admitted to the hospital for Appendicitis.
Thanks to my experience, I became aware that not all hospital trips are as frightening as some people make them seem. The pain was the worst part of the whole experience. My unforgettable journey began just as soon as I arrived to the hospitals emergency room. I was amazed of how wide and crowded the hospitals corridors were.
There were nurses everywhere, Every kind of nurse imaginable. There were wheelchairs, Heart monitors, Oxygen tanks, waiting rooms filled with worried people, and many other things you would expect to see in hospitals. One thing that you really seem to notice is the distinct smell. A feeling that almost reassures you that you are in a hospital and causing my stomach to hurt even more.
